The Nash Ensemble’s recording of seven of John’s works will be issued on the BIS label in May 2020
The disc surveys over 30 years of composing activity and includes The Gardener of Aleppo (2016); Ghost-Train (2016), Serenata Concertata (1984); The Phagotus of Afranio (1992); Chicken Studies for solo oboe (2008); Daughters of Zion (2016) and Snowbound (2010)
